TDS INC., a corporation doing business as TECHNICAL DRILLING SERVICES since 1977, has provided mud logging and consulting services on over 8,000 wells.
TDS is the solution for Mudlogging in Oklahoma and all surrounding areas. The primary goal of Technical Drilling Services has always been to assist our clients in reaching total depth safely at minimum cost. We believe in providing our clients with the most accurate data that today’s technology can achieve. Our services run the gamut from simple well-site gas detectors to sophisticated computerized mud logging services. Any combination of services is offered depending on the needs of our clientele. Our corporate office is located in Oklahoma City.

Mudlogging
Basic Two Man Mudlogging Package
TDS’ Basic Two Man Mudlogging Package includes: 24-hour mud logging services consisting of a two-man crew. These mudlogging services cover data acquisition and logging-data reporting and mudlog build-out; formation gas detection- Total Gas (C1 to C4 or C5); cuttings analysis- sample catching, preparation, examination, and lithology, as well as storage and shipping. All aspects of TDS Mudlogging and Gas detection services can be adjusted to fit the specific needs of each job site. TDS also offers additional add-on services to enhance your overall experience with us.
Gas Detection
Basic Two Man Mudlogging Package
TDS utilizes Infrared Gas monitoring equipment. This means no spark or filament to go bad or saturate. Most rig data including ROP, Depth, and Gas readings are available when the client is logged onto our website. Other data from the rig is available if our instruments are on a WITTS feed from the rig. This can include WOB, PP, SPM, Flow and many other trace properties. You will also have access to the gas chromatograph chart as well as individual chromatograph cycles. There is only 10 seconds lag time from the well to your computer! It also has multiple alert functions via E-mail or Text Message.

One-Man (1M) Mainlog Computer Mud Logging Service
- Continuous total gas monitor (Infrared).
- Continuous automatic gas chromatograph analysis (Infrared).
- Full show report form on each occurrence.
- Logging engineer will log complete description of roughneck samples.
- Complete ultraviolet analysis.
- Continuous drill time plots for correlation.
- Logger will stay on Location in logging unit.
- Logger will supervise & monitor sample collection.
He will also be available to assist in picking core points, DSTs & observe logging runs.
*As part of the Stratagraph corporation, TDS is capable of providing any customizable services as needed by the client, this includes the use of FID gas detection, geosteering, geochemistry, and other items that fall under the services of Stratagraph Inc.
Two-Man (2M) Mainlog Computer Mud Logging Service
